Taiwan Expo 2025 in Malaysia marked its largest and most impactful edition yet, bringing together over 00 Taiwanese exhibitors to showcase cutting-edge innovations across AI, green technology, smart healthcare, and industrial transformation. Held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).
The “AI‑Driven, Future Taipei” Pavilion at Taiwan Expo 2025 in KLCC—anchored by the Taipei City Government—spotlights two major themes: Smart Technology and Sustainability. It brings together 14 leading Taipei-area innovators, showcasing AI-powered inspection systems, edge computing solutions (including Netiotek’s IIoT offerings), The Pavilion emphasized hands‑on demos, business‑matching sessions, and a robust media push to amplify Taipei’s industrial strengths in ASEAN markets.

Overview of Taiwan Expo Malaysia
Taiwan EXPO in Malaysia has served as an important platform to promote cooperation between Taiwan and the ASEAN markets. Since 2017, it has attracted participation from more than 1,200 Taiwanese enterprises, generating nearly USD 400 million in business opportunities. This year’s exhibition will be grandly held from June 23 to 25, 2025, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), and is expected to draw over 15,000 visitors — a record high. As bilateral trade continues to grow, total trade volume between Taiwan and Malaysia reached USD 34.5 billion in 2024, setting a new historical high. Taiwan’s exports to Malaysia have increased by 92% compared to 2017, highlighting the potential of bilateral cooperation and the vitality of the market.
Amid trends of digital transformation, green sustainability, and AI-driven innovation, Malaysia is actively advancing key industries such as Industry 4.0, net-zero carbon initiatives, digital economy, and medical innovations. To align with these developments, Taiwan EXPO 2025 will feature thematic zones including the AI Innovation Application Area, Smart Health Management Area, and Green & Sustainable Pavilion. The expo will showcase Taiwan’s cutting-edge solutions across smart manufacturing, green building, smart healthcare, AI enterprise services, and smart retail. In addition, AI-powered guide robots will enhance the interactive experience on-site, further strengthening Taiwan’s image as a leader in smart technology.

Taipei Pavilion
In 2025, the Taipei Pavilion will adopt the core theme of “AI Driven, Future Taipei”, highlighting Taipei City’s advantages in smart technology applications and industries. It will showcase Taipei’s latest achievements in AI innovation, smart living, smart healthcare, and smart manufacturing. The pavilion’s design will integrate the imagery and color scheme of the Taipei City logo, creating an exhibition space that blends business matchmaking with interactive experiences. It will feature areas for one-on-one business meetings, a small stage, and photo zones, providing a diverse platform for exchanges between international buyers and exhibition visitors.
The Taipei Pavilion will bring together 14 outstanding enterprises from Taipei City, covering three major application areas: smart healthcare/long-term care, smart factories/enterprises, and smart living/retail. During the exhibition, a series of activities will be held, including supplier presentations, one-on-one business matchmaking sessions, and media interviews, to enhance the international exposure of Taipei enterprises and support their market expansion.
