NC2042PE 提供Extend、Default、VLAN三種模式，適應各種複雜環境。 同時支援PoE A自動偵測功能，專為解決設備凍結問題而設計。 它可以自動偵測凍結的PD設備並重新啟動P S E 連接埠的輸出，並重新啟動PD設備 。大大降低了工程維護難度。
NC2042PE 具有較高的抗干擾能力，產品支援6KV突波保護， 和6KV 接觸/8KV 空氣ESD保護。 此外，NC2042PE 支援壁掛和桌面安裝，可靠耐用， 可應用於安防網路視訊監控、網路工程等場合。
